Women’s Coordinator

The Gospel Rescue Mission of Grants Pass is seeking a Women’s Coordinator to walk alongside women and children experiencing homelessness, addiction, and crisis as they pursue healing, stability, and independence through Christ.
This is more than a case management role. It’s an opportunity to provide discipleship, mentorship, and practical guidance to women who are working to rebuild their lives. As the Women’s Coordinator, you will help create a safe, structured, Christ-centered environment where women and children can grow spiritually, develop life skills, and take meaningful steps toward independence.
What You’ll Do:
- Build meaningful relationships with women in the residential program
- Provide Christ-centered mentorship, encouragement, and Biblical guidance
- Conduct resident intake assessments and help create individualized action plans
- Facilitate regular progress reviews within the Pathway to Independence program
- Connect residents with community resources like housing, employment, medical care, and legal services
- Maintain accurate documentation and track resident progress
- Model healthy communication, boundaries, and Christlike leadership
- Collaborate with Mission staff to support a consistent, Christ-centered residential culture
- Represent the Gospel Rescue Mission at community events

Retail Donations Specialist
Full-Time
The Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Retail Donations Specialist. This role primarily involves driving a large box truck to pick up donations of furniture, clothing, and household items from members of the Grants Pass community for our two thrift stores: Booth Street Thrift Store and Second Chance Thrift Store. Additionally, this individual will provide support to store operations as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a large box truck to various locations within the Grants Pass community to pick up donated items.
- Safely load and unload furniture donations with the assistance of other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and represent the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission professionally at all times.
- Assist in sorting, organizing, and pricing donated items at the thrift stores.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the donation pickup truck and thrift store areas.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.
- Follow proper procedures to open and close the thrift stores as needed.
- Support the Mission’s mission and values by actively participating in and promoting Christian principles.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy furniture items.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in driving large vehicles and/or working in a retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to the Mission’s Christian values and willingness to sign the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission statement of faith.
Schedule and Compensation:
This is a full-time position, weekdays and Saturdays, $16/Hour. Health and retirement benefits available after 90 days.
