God works in mysterious ways and today was a beautiful example of that saying. Not happy with being the cashier most of the day because of wanting to get a lot done before I leave, God basically said “Watch this”.
My first God moment was a woman who came in to give a cash donation because of our Mission’s mission. At first she was going to give $50 but was afraid putting money in our box, it would be stolen. I told her I could put her donation directly in the cash register and give her a receipt, that moved her to donate $100. Though she said she and her husband are struggling she felt our Father inspired her to give. Thank you God, what a blessing.
My next God moment was a very young lady who came in in a very large, very wet hooded jacket. She was seeking shelter and food. She touched my heart. Though I could not understand most of what she was saying, I told her about the Mission and gave her Monica’s card and directions to get there. So wish I could have walked her there…still praying for her.
Last, but not least, there is a gal I called the police on over a week ago for her disturbance and profanity inside the store. She left before they arrived, however, I have seen her around the store…inside and out this week. She tries to hide with herself with a large hoodie but she knows I am watching her and know who she is. Tonight she came in, purchased several items and apologized for her prior behavior.
Amazing!
