A Fun Way to Bless Our Residents

By: Monica Conley, Women’s Coordinator

The holidays are upon us, and we at the Fikso Women and Children’s Center are diligently working on our wreaths for the “Wreaths for Residents” program (Formerly Faith and Hope House Wreath Program). This year we are expanding the program to benefit all the Gospel Rescue Mission Residents.
We have added QR codes for donating to our Barrier Removal Fund and to our General Fund. The General Fund allows us to utilize donations in a broad way, such as paying electricity, water and even toward our MissionView Village project and much more. The Barrier Removal Fund allows us to help residents with getting new teeth, tires for their cars, identification cards, birth certificates, etc.
With 10 churches participating, we are confident that we can continue to meet the needs of our community and our residents.
A huge thank you to our participating churches:
  • Jerome Prairie Bible Church
  • Merlin Community Baptist
  • Edgewater Christian Fellowship
  • Seventh Day Adventist
  • River Valley Church
  • St. Luke’s Episcopal
  • St. Paul’s Lutheran, First Christian
  • Calvary Crossroads Church
  • Parkway Christian Center
If you would like to participate next year in our wreath program, please reach out to Monica Conley at 541-200-6242.
